Hello all:)
I was a huge fan of the xfire game browsing utility, and I still am. Since I took a shortcut and copied my Q3arena folder from my slave hard-drive to my C drive xfire doesnt let me launch Q3. I have it and use it for a number of things, but now I am using GSC, GameTracker. If anyone wants ,... feel free to add me.
BTW, what game launcher are you using? Would be interresting to know

I still faithful to the server watch, available at www.dfsoftware.com, a good little program that sits quietly in your system tray. If you try a reinstall of q3a xfire will probably work. They maybe q3a registry entries which are missing, not sure. Anyway GSC is good and uses little memory.

I will bet you are correct on the registry statement[almost positive], Does xfire use alot of memory Mark? If it does,..possibly a change for the best. I dunno. Within the next 2-3 weeks I will talk to Droko and see if I cant use her again for us

Xfire is a great program and uses little memory, not much more than GSC. Its all about what each person likes. I like them both and xfire is always good to have running in the background when u think about all the contacts u have with that program.
